Many of us find shoes we like and stick with them. I wear an assortment of brands for my various running events.
I’ve got my training shoes, my light weight track shoes, my track spikes, my road racing shoes, my cross country shoes…
Now I’m considering a minimalist pair of shoes (a la barefoot running). Yes, I confess when it comes to running shoes I’m a bit like Imelda Marcos.
The shoe companies regularly change and update their models. It can be disappointing when your favorite shoe is not longer available (Grrrr!). Sizes, colors and features can alter with the latest model. Suddenly you can find you’re now a size 8 when you’ve always been a size 7. Do you homework when you’re replacing shoes.
